White Sprayed Wardrobe with Sliding Doors

For this project the clients specified a modern shallow wardrobe to allow for more space in their bedroom with as much storage as possible. Their bed was in the centre of the room so I designed the storage space to work around this. Sliding doors were suggested as hinged doors would need to open into the room.

The drawer sections were placed either end to give full access to the drawers without hitting the bed. The hanging rails are able to pull out into the room for easy access. Adjustable shelving was added so the shelves could be set to suit the clients.

To keep with the contemporary look no handles were used. Instead, a routered finger pull was machined into the drawer fronts. All drawers were set on concealed soft closing drawer runners. A large mirror was fitted to one of the doors.

The wardrobe was finished in a 10% sheen brilliant white sprayed lacquer.
